Our people are some of the best in the industry and collectively we have over 200 years experience of the prepared foods industry. All Merifoods employees undergo in depth inductions and regularly take part in both “in house” and external training.

Veg Processing

Our Technical Team is focused on ensuring all our products meet the specific requirements of our customers.  From supplier audits and traceability to shelf life trials and microbial results, our technical department is constantly looking at innovative ways of improving our offering.  Merifoods works closely with industry leading companies and individuals in the Food Technology arena.

The success of Merifoods depends on the people in it and as such we will continue to invest in both its facilities and its people, to ensure that excellence is a term synonymous with both our products and our service.

Operating 7 days a week our operations team is focused on producing first class product for our customers. Using both traditional methods and modern machinery our skilled workforce is in prime position to produce bespoke offerings for our customers.  All our operatives hold a minimum of Basic Food Hygiene, whilst our team leaders are currently completing NVQ qualifications.
